The ball will automatically slide forward. You hold down the left mouse button to accelerate the ball and slide against the ground.
You release your hand to release the force of the ball and shoot up. The longer you stay close to the ground, the higher the ball will fly when you release your hand.
Then you continue to hold down the mouse button to let the ball lose height until it continues to slide against the ground.
