Fish Dive takes players to a vast, endless ocean where the surface is densely covered with dangerous floating mines. In the midst of this seemingly peaceful ocean, only narrow gaps remain for the fish to swim through.
Throughout the journey, the fish will constantly surface and dive back down in a natural trajectory. You must time your maneuvers precisely to pass through the gaps between the mines, because touching a mine will cause it to explode and end the adventure immediately.
Fish Dive uses a simple yet competitive scoring system.
Each time the fish successfully swims past a mine without collision, you will receive 1 point.
Your score will continuously increase as you progress. Since the game has no final level, the sole objective is to break your own record after each attempt.
To go far, you need to know how to control the fish to perform accurate jumps and landings to avoid floating mines. Follow the instructions and tips below:
Use the spacebar or left mouse button to control the fish's jumps out of the water. The height of the jump depends on how long you press the button.
Release your finger to let the fish fly and land on its natural momentum.
To make the fish land more actively and quickly, hold down the spacebar or click the left mouse button again.
Continue performing these actions in sequence. The important thing is that the length of the jump and the point of impact are accurate to achieve a high score.
Understand the fish's surfacing and diving trajectory
This will help you accurately predict its next move, allowing you to navigate more mines. To achieve this, you need to practice feeling each jump. Once you're familiar with the fish's jumping mechanism and feel the force of each jump, you can control it more easily and skillfully.
Aim for the middle of tight gaps
A light touch to the edge of an obstacle is enough to kill the fish. When gaps get tighter, or there’s no gap between them, aim to dive in any open center with a perfect trajectory.
Let difficult stars go
Only chase one when its path is already reasonably safe. Trying to grab tricky ones may quickly end your fish’s adventure.
Watch the gap, not the fish
Keep your eyes slightly ahead of your character to react in time instead of making last-minute reactions.
