Skill Requirements for Playing Tennis in Duo Defense

To have many successful shots, you need to know the following skills:

Accuracy is more important than speed

Although the game gets faster over time, randomly pressing buttons is rarely effective.

Players need to carefully track the ball's trajectory and react at the right time. Misjudging can prevent the character from returning the ball, immediately interrupting the play.

Because the ball is constantly moving between the two sides of the court, concentration is essential. A small mistake can end an impressive shot.

Survive to achieve a higher score

The longer you keep the ball moving, the more opportunities you have to eliminate zombies and increase your score. Each successful serve contributes to:

  • Eliminating more zombies.
  • Prolonging the rally.
  • Increasing the overall score.
  • Testing your reflexes.

Maintaining control becomes increasingly difficult later in the game, making each new record feel worthwhile.

One missed shot and game over

The match only continues as long as both characters successfully return the ball. If a missed shot occurs and one of the players is hit by the ball, that character is knocked out and the game ends immediately.

This simple rule creates constant tension in each game. Even after surviving for a long time, a single missed shot can instantly end your game.

Controlling the character to hit

There are two characters standing on either side, the controls for each character are as follows:

Control the right character to hit the tennis ball: Press the D key or the right arrow key or click the mouse on the right character.

Control the character on the left to hit the tennis ball: Press the A key or the left arrow key, or click on the character on the left.

When you press the control key, the character will swing the racket and hit the ball towards the zombie. The ball will then hit the zombie and be returned to one of the two characters. This continues until an unsuccessful shot occurs, at which point the game ends.
