Take on a drifting challenge on a road suspended in mid-air in the game Retro Drift. Control your car to execute precise directional drifts.

The drifting mechanics in Retro Drift utilize a one-touch control scheme, similar to Drift Boss. However, Retro Drift is designed to be slightly more forgiving in a few key areas:
The car's movement speed is a bit slower, giving players more reaction time when approaching corners.
The track is also wider, making it easier to navigate turns and maintain vehicle stability. This minimizes instances where the car slides off the edge of the road, a common issue on overly narrow tracks. As a result, beginners can maintain better control of their vehicle and are less likely to fall off the track during sequences of consecutive turns.
Strive to execute as many perfect drifts as possible to achieve a high score in every playthrough.
In Retro Drift, the scoring system is quite simple yet provides ample motivation for players to aim for higher achievements in each round. Every time you successfully execute a drift through a sharp turn, you earn 1 point. Thus, your score directly reflects the number of corners you have safely cleared. Additionally, collectible items such as cassette tapes appear along the track.
Players can gather these while driving to accumulate currency that can be exchanged for various car models in the in-game shop, adding variety and excitement to the gameplay experience. At the end of each round, you are also awarded Stars, a special resource that can be used to unlock or activate support features for future rounds, giving you a strategic advantage in subsequent playthroughs.
